2011: A Year of Gratitude
President’s Message
No doubt, it was a challenging year for us all at FPMC, but if you ask me what we
are most grateful for, I would simply say, "A fresh start in our new home!" With
the tremendous support of our Board of Trustees, our host and support churches,
pastors and coordinators, a new Case Manager, the kindness of volunteers, the many
individual and financial supporters around the community, and the generosity of local
businessman John M. Frailey, Family Promise is in a new day center that we call home. > See More |

A young man and his son arrived at Family Promise and were screened for admittance to the program in Monroe County. George and his 2 year old son were evicted from their apartment and he had lost his entire life in 15 days.

2nd Annual Mini Golf Tournament Feb 11, 2012 3-8PM
 Practice your putting
on
February 11, 2012 from 3-8PM at East Stroudsburg United
Methodist Church (located at 88. S. Courtland St. East Stroudsburg). With 18
holes of miniature golf inside the church, this will be great fun for the entire
family!
3rd Annual Footsteps for Families 3K Walk-a-thon March 3, 2012
 Let your feet do
the talking on March 3, 2012 from 8:00-10:00 a.m. inside the Stroud Mall in
Stroudsburg. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m.; the walk begins at 9:00 a.m. Get together with some
friends and walk to raise money for Family Promise. The participant with the
most pledges raised will win a beautifully crafted birdhouse. In addition to
refreshments, there will be a tricky tray and music to
inspire us along the walk. Applications will be mailed to
previous participants. Contact FP if you need one.
Spring Clothing Drive April, 2012
Since the three clothing drives of 2011 raised more
than $3100 for Family Promise, we are planning another for April 2012. Stay
tuned for more information about the date and location.
